Dr. H. Clifford Lane is a highly respected physician-scientist best known for his pioneering work in infectious diseases and immunology. He served for decades at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), where he was the Deputy Director for Clinical Research and Special Projects under Dr. Anthony Fauci. In that role, Dr. Lane oversaw major national and international research efforts on HIV/AIDS, emerging infectious diseases, and pandemic preparedness.
